Thomas Charles Farmer, 73, of Prospect Park, passed away March 6, 2022 at Pennsburg Manor. Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Frank and Dorothy (Middleton) Farmer. After his mother passed away, Thomas was taken in and raised by the Quinn Family of Essington. Thomas served our country honorably as a Marine during the Vietnam War. He received various medals during his service, including a Purple Heart. After returning from service, Thomas was an auto mechanic for a variety of garages, and then became a Property Maintenance Manager for The Church of Jesus of Latter Day Saints in the Philadelphia region. Thomas was a member of the Wydnor Ward of The Church of Jesus of the Latter Day Saints. Early in life, he enjoyed hunting. Throughout his life, he enjoyed fishing, fly-fishing, the outdoors and spending time with his grandchildren. He and his family especially enjoyed traveling to and participating in the Pennsylvania Renaissance Fair, where he would assist the Falconer.
Surviving is a daughter, Kristen Brenner, of Prospect Park; and grandchildren: Thomas & Lillian. He was one of seven siblings including: Frank Jr., Robert, Raymond, Susan, Dorothy, and Dohonell.
