Queen Elizabeth and her great-grandchildren reunited for the first time since the advent of the coronavirus pandemic in London. One insider gave details about the royal monarch’s reaction.
Last Friday, there was a lot of warmth in the Balmoral Castle, where Queen Elizabeth and her great-grandkids saw each other for the first time in months.
According to a Closer Weekly source, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis will be with the Queen on the summer estate for a few days.

THE QUEEN’S REACTION
Upon seeing her great-grandkids by Prince William and daughter-in-law Kate Middleton, the source said Queen Elizabeth was “delighted.” They added: “Elizabeth deeply missed her loved ones during lockdown.”
The visit to the Scotland estate is reportedly the last trip the kids will make before returning to school. The location is definitely one that allows them to end the holidays on a high note. The source noted:
“George, Charlotte, and Louis are enjoying the change of scenery. There’s so much space at Balmoral for the kids to run around and play.”

GEORGE AND CHARLOTTE HAVE FUN
The royal family has owned the property since 1952. George, seven, is a big fan of vegetable picking for dinner time. He has also caught on to the tradition of fly fishing, reports the Sun.
Charlotte, five, loves to visit the stables and watch the horses. The source claims the young girl rode one of the ponies and could not stop talking about it.
The Cambridges are reportedly living in a building separate from the main area on the estate. This falls in line with being mindful of social distancing protocols.

PRINCE HARRY MISSING OUT
Elsewhere, Prince Harry expressed how disappointed he was in not being able to join William and Middleton at Balmoral. Harry is currently living in California with his wife, Meghan Markle, and their son, Archie.
Due to the coronavirus crisis, Harry could not make the annual summer visit with his brother, William. Harry will also miss the upcoming King Power Royal Charity Polo Day in September month-end.

OTHERS AT THE CASTLE
Meanwhile, Prince Edward, Princess Anne, and Sophie of Wessex also visited the Balmoral Castle in what the Daily Mail described as a “socially-distanced” reunion.
Before the reunion, Queen Elizabeth was self-isolating with her husband, the Duke of Edinburgh, since early August. The pair plan to stay at Balmoral till the start of October.
RECENT STEP DOWN
The Queen is also reportedly still caring for husband Prince Philip. At 99 years old, the royal is has started to succumb to old age and its afflictions.
The Queen has thus stepped down from her royal duties to be at her husband’s side. Both of them are keenly aware of their health amid the pandemic.
