Bernard “Bear” Cochrane
Bernard “Bear” Cochrane, 57, of Milford, CT, entered into eternal rest on February 12, 2022. Bear was born on May 29, 1964 in Milford, CT.
Bear worked as a licensed sprinkler fitter for many years and was most recently employed as a fire sprinkler inspector with Johnson Controls. Bear was a loving father, grandfather and friend. Anyone who was lucky enough to meet Bear likely shared a good laugh with him, as he had a great sense of humor. Bear was also an amazing fly fisherman. Fishing was his life. The many trips to Cape Cod over the years to go fishing were some of the greatest times of his life. When he wasn’t fishing, fly tying or talking about going fishing, he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his best buddy and grandson, Charlie. Bear is survived by his daughter, Ashley Dobuzinsky and her husband, Robert Dobuzinsky, grandson and best fishing buddy, Charlie Dobuzinsky, his former spouse Debra Cochrane and many friends. The family is being compassionately cared for by the staff at Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad Street, Milford, CT 06460.
Friends and family may call on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 BROAD STREET, MILFORD, CT. To leave online condolences, please visit our website at www.codywhitefuneralservice.com.
