CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) – Wyoming Game and Fish have opened up registration for their summer camp at Whiskey Mountain near Dubois, WY for youth or families.

They offer a conservation camp called ‘Camp Wild’ for teens in the ninth or tenth grade.

Camp wild is a four to five day camp focusing on nature exploration, conservation principles, science, and outdoor activities. The camp is led by Game and Fish instructors and teaches the teens about conservation and how to recreate outdoors.

The camp dates are July 25-29th, and August 1-5. The cost is $150 and includes meals, a t-shirt and a water bottle. The registration deadline is June 1.

Game and Fish also encourage Wyomingites to register for family camp. They offer three or four day options for either $100-150 per person depending on which option is selected. The camp teaches families outdoor activities that they can participate in together, such as intro to fly fishing, nature hikes, canoeing, geocaching, archery, birdwatching, air rifles and campfires.

The Game and Fish Department offers five different dates in June and July for these camps. Game and Fish has more information on their website about Whiskey Mountain Conservation camps.
