Pine Portage is a well established Fishing/Hunting Resort located about a half hour flight north of Wawa, ON.. We are now looking to hire and fill the following positions for our 2022 Season from Mid May through September.
FIRST COOK: Responsible for preparation of all main meals, homemade breads and baking etc.. Experience an asset but paper accreditation is not necessarily required.
MARINE MACHANIC: Full service Marine Mechanic required for our full service marine shop at Lodge. Great opportunity to learn and work on Yamaha Outboard Motors. Must be able to work independently: Duties require knowledge of daily operations and repairs of our fleet of about 35 motors. Some knowledge of daily operations and repairs of our fleet of about 35 motors. some knowledge of Aluminum Welding for the basic boat repairs an asset. Also, regular maintenance on other motorized vehicles such as four wheelers and golf carts. Hourly wage with a lot of opportunity for overtime. Wage will depend upon experience.
SERVIER/HOUSEKEEPING: Serving of all meals in our dining area and also cleaning of all cabins as needed. Will train but some experience would be preferred.
DOCK HAND: Responsible for getting boats ready for the guests, docking of our float aircraft and other lodge duties. Must have experience in handling of outboard motors and boats an asset. Boaters card would also be required.
FISHING/HUNTING GUIDES: Responsible for taking guests out in boat, catching fish and cleaning and cooking on an open fire at shore lunch. Fishing experience, knowledge of cleaning and cooking fish, operations of boat and motor, out going personality would be considered an asset. Boaters card would also be required.
