The latest how-to video from Ben Sittig, a.k.a Huge Fly Fisherman, is all about fishing during runoff, when rivers get high and muddy. Depending on where you live, runoff occurs from March through June, and it can produce some tough fishing conditions. But, as HFF notes, the fishing can also be really good if you know where to put your flies. It’s important to note that the number one rule of fishing during runoff is Stay Safe. Both wading and boating can be treacherous, so don’t take any chances.
