Catching an insect hatch at its peak–when the bugs are thick and the trout are rising everywhere–is a magical experience for a fly fisher. For me, anyway, it’s also pretty rare. This great video from Denmark shows a group of fishing buddies enjoying a spectacular hatch of huge Danica mayflies on a small spring creek. The visuals are lovely, and the both the bugs and the wild trout are something special.
