Trout Unlimited meeting set for Sept. 12

The Clear Fork River Chapter of Trout Unlimited will meet at 7:15 p.m. Monday, Sept. 12, at the First Presbyterian Church, 621 College Ave., Wooster. In addition to meeting in-person, a Zoom option is available. For access information, send an email to cfrtu.rsvp@gmail.com that names the Sept. 12 date and includes name and email address. An invitation and link to the Zoom meeting will be returned by email.

There will be a discussion of chapter activities and a raffle of fly fishing equipment. CFRTU member Floyd Schanbacher will host the showing of an hourlong video titled “The Underwater World of Trout: Feeding Lies.” The video, written and directed by Wendell “Ozzie” Ozefovich, with his filming company “Underwater Oz Productions,” gives the viewer a “trout’s eye view” of stream life to examine the facts and get real answers to the age-old questions of where are the fish, and what are they eating?

Details of this and future TU meetings, plus other chapter activities and local fishing reports, can be found at cfrtu.org.  All meetings are open to the public and anyone interested in fishing and cold water fisheries preservation is encouraged to participate. Interested women anglers are especially invited to attend.
