Freeport Area High school set to perform, ‘Pippin’

Freeport Area High School will present the musical, “Pippin,” at 2 and 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Freeport Area Middle School auditorium, 629 S. Pike Road.

Concordia to sponsor comedy and ventriloquism show

Concordia at Cabot will host a free comedy and ventriloquism performance by Ryan and Friends at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Haven I, 112 Marwood Road, Winfield.

Annual Christmas for Vets event planned Dec. 5

Five Forces will host its sixth annual Christmas for Veterans event Dec. 5 at the School House Hall, 171 Thorn St., Oklahoma Borough.

Doors open at 5 p.m. Dinner will be served and there will be a DJ, drinks, and giveaways. All veterans and current members of the military are welcome. Attendees must show DD214 paperwork, current military ID or proper discharge paperwork. Tickets are free for veterans and current military. Guest tickets are $25 each, plus drinks.
