Assessor’s Office beginning property inspections

SUNDERLAND — The Assessor’s Office has begun conducting inspections for all properties throughout town.

Inspections will include photographs of the properties, walking around the properties and potentially interior inspections, according to a notice on the town website.

The inspector, Alan Bishop, will be driving a Silver BMW with license plate number 4MEA90. The vehicle is registered with the Sunderland Police Department.

Fire Department holding raffle

CONWAY — In lieu of a traditional ham dinner fundraiser, the Conway Fire Department is holding a raffle to raise money for the Conway Firemen’s Relief Association.

The winner of the raffle will get a two-person fly fishing trip with Harrison Anglers in Northfield, according to a post on the Fire Department’s Facebook page.

Each ticket costs $10 and the raffle winners will be drawn Sept. 1, at 7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased from Fire Department members or at Baker’s Country Store at 101 River St.

Personnel Board seeks fifth member

DEERFIELD — The town’s Personnel Board is seeking a fifth member to help make recommendations on rules and policies for employees in Deerfield.

According to a post on the town website, a human resources background is ideal, but not required. Candidates must be a Deerfield resident and neither a town employee nor a member of any other boards or committees.

Conway student graduates from Oklahoma State

CONWAY — Liam Falla of Conway has earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Oklahoma State University.
