In conjunction with the U.S. State Department, Mary traveled the world promoting the employment of people with disabilities. Mary loved running, hiking, biking and fly fishing. She participated in many marathons and finished a half ironman competition in New Hampshire.

Though disability was her passion, faith was the foundation and the fuel that compelled her to work tirelessly for others. She was able to model the love of God so extraordinarily because she was first a lover of God and set her eyes on the mission of Jesus.
