Joseph Henry Schueck, 74, Millersburg, passed away Sunday, Jan. 15, 2023.
Born Aug. 7, 1948, he was the son of the late Henry and Ara Lynn (Ware) Schueck.
He is survived by loving wife, Donna E. (Blair) Schueck; children, Joseph D. Schueck; Christopher Schueck and wife, Tara; Brian Schueck; and stepson, Jonathan R. Parks; grandchildren, Alicia Hoke; Joshua Schueck; and Chandler Schueck; two great-grandchildren, Avelyn and Ainsley; and a sister, Karen Carson.
He was preceded in death by siblings, Louise Flood; Gary Bender; and Larry Schueck.
Joseph graduated from Mount Union Area High School in 1966.
Joseph was a member of the United States Army National Guard.
He received his bachelor’s degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
Joseph worked for the state Department of Environmental Protection.
He was the former chief of the Millersburg Volunteer Ambulance Co.
He enjoyed woodworking, fly fishing and helping others.
Friends and family will be received from 11 a.m. Tuesday Jan. 24, until the time of service at 1 p.m. at the Heath-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 61 E. Shirley St., Mount Union, with lay speaker Joseph Barrett officiating. Interment will be made in Goodman Cemetery, Henderson Township.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to a charity of their choice.
