Dotted with log cabins, the interiors of Dunton Hot Springs are warm, cozy, and distinctly western: think cast iron fireplaces, faux bear rugs, modern rocking chairs, painted ox skulls and lassos hung from the walls. One cabin even has tree-trunk side tables. Old rusty trucks and wagons serve as decorative accents throughout the landscape.

Meanwhile, the River Camp (which is four miles away from the main lodging center), is adorned with glamping tents.

Although Collins and her now-husband, Charlie McDowell, have kept mum on many wedding details, it’s possible they exchanged vows beneath the property’s open-air A-frame log chapel, while the charming Dance Hall and saloon is a perfect venue for a reception.

The list of activity options at Dunton Hot Springs is long: in addition to the aforementioned hot springs, there’s hiking, fly-fishing, horseback riding, ice skating, snowshoeing trails, cross country skiing, and ice hockey equipment for when the river freezes over. Every night is an apt one for stargazing, even the coldest.

A spa has a yoga deck that looks out onto a wildflower meadow, and offers alpine-inspired treatments: think CBD massages with Colorado-grown hemp, or another with lemongrass essential oils.

After all that, are you ready to plan a Colorado road trip yet?
