Colorado Gov. Shoup signed a bill that requires all teachers in the state to be loyal to the government. This means they must lead the Pledge of Allegiance to the classroom flag every morning with their classes.
In Missouri, a 13-year-old girl was arrested for shooting her 6-year-old stepchild. The child-bride said “I didn’t do it on purpose.”
Now, boys! If you are going fishing Saturday, stop by Worrell-Thompson Hardware: bamboo fishing poles, 20 cents to 35 cents each.
The Quad Club at Greeley High School held its election this week. The new President of the club is John Allnutt.

Greeley Police Chief Florance announced that at the end of this week, police court will have “Dog Days,” because so many residents have been ticketed for owning a dog without a city license.

A 21-year-old Greeley man who said he was carrying magazine subscription cards in his suitcase and selling them door-to-door, was stopped by La Salle police when he got off the train. They searched his suitcase and found 21 pints of illegal booze, which he was selling door-to-door.
