Welcome to the latest edition of the Orvis News Friday Fly-Fishing Film Festival! Each week, we scour the Web for the best fly-fishing videos available and then serve them up for you to enjoy. This week, we’ve got a quirky collection of videos featuring some cool species and destinations. Ever thought of catching a guitarfish? Or traveling to Sweden for Baltic salmon? There are so many possibilities for fly fishers, and one of the joys of researching these videos each week is discovering something new.

For best results, watch all videos at full-screen and in high definition. Remember, we surf so you don’t have to. But if you do stumble upon something great that you think is worthy of inclusion in a future F5, please post it in the comments below, and we’ll take a look.

A sampling of the incredible salt water fly fishing experience Baja has to offer.

Big ol’ brookies in western North Carolina.

Just a couple minutes of hot northern-pike action from Canada.

Belive it or not, this isn’t the first video we’ve posted about casting for lesser guitarfish (Acroteriobatus annulatus).

I love fishing bass ponds from a canoe.

A quest for a first-ever Baltic salmon & a first ever salmon fishing journey for the dog, Boyo. (CC on!)

Not quite a trailer, but a promo for a film. But we’ll watch anything Chase and Aimee make.

Dave Jensen, fishing in Chile, demonstrates the best ways to fish tailout structure.

Mark Melnyk is on a grand adventure exploring Eastern Idaho in search of great trout fishing.
