Best bets this weekend include Fly Fishing 101 and Sip and Shop.

Duranglers Flies & Supplies will host a Fly Fishing 101 workshop at 11 a.m. Saturday at the store, 923 Main Ave.

The workshop is based on the Orvis 101 Fly Fishing class. Learn about the gear needed, knots, basic fly selection and casting instruction.

Participation is limited to six people, so preregistration is required. If the class fills up, additional participants will be added to the next available class.

All practices of COVID-19 safety, social distancing and cleanliness will be in place and mask-wearing will be mandatory.

HHH The Dyed Poppy Boutique will host a Sip and Shop event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at 708 E. Tucker Ave., Farmington.

Enjoy a day of shopping with The Dyed Poppy Boutique, Detailz Boutique and Freshly Crafted. Each small business will be in a separate area.

The first 35 people in the door receive a grab bag and a wine glass. Bring 10 cans of nonperishable food to receive 10% off at participating vendors.
