When fish are coming to the surface but won’t touch your dun patterns, it’s time to try an emerger, and this easy-to-tie pattern has all the attributes you look for in an emerger imitation: it sits low in the water, is easy to see, and offers the right silhouette. In this latest how-to video from Tightline Productions, Tim Flagler walks you through the process of creating a Sulphur Breadline Emerger. I like the way he offers tips and tricks for applying each material–from dividing the Antron Yarn to trimming the hackle collar. I am digging that the new videos are shot in 4K resolution. The picture is spectacularly sharp, even at full-screen.
