Father’s Day is fast approaching, so we’re celebrating dads in the outdoors with our annual photo contest–this year with a cool new submission site! If you’ve got a great image of a dad enjoying the outdoors—fishing, hiking, hunting, boating, etc.—then you can win one of three great fly rods.
Here’s how it works:
1. Find your best picture of a dad in the outdoors. It doesn’t have to be your dad, but it does have to be your photo. You can submit a photo of yourself, your dad, your husband, a friend, and so on. Any image that captures the experience of a dad or father figure enjoying the outdoors is eligible.
2. Visit fathersday.orvis.com to post your photo and the story behind it.
3. Even if you’re not entering a photo, you can go to the site and see the entries and read the stories!
We will accept submissions from today through Sunday, June 20. After the contest closes, our crack team of judges will go through all the photos posted and pick up to eight winners!
Why “up to eight”? Because all winning photos will appear in an upcoming Orvis catalog, so the quality of the entries will determine how many winners there are.
First Prize is a $500 Orvis Gift Card, and all other winners will receive $250 Gift Cards.
