We are officially into the holiday season and as the weather gets cool, the events calendar starts to heat up with craft and gift shows, indoor music concerts and festive drink classes.

Saturday, Nov. 6
1. The 23rd annual Calf Auction kicks off at 11:30 a.m. at Greeley Producers, 711 O St with a free prime rib lunch and fundraising auction featuring agricultural and non-agricultural items including a John Deere kids gator, professional sports tickets, various cuts of meat, cows, calfs and more. 2. Calling all fly fishers! The Scheels Fly Fest is taking place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 4755 Ronald Reagan Blvd. in Johnstown. The event will feature seminars discussing a variety of topics including stream fishing, midge fishing, native fish restoration and more. Attendees can take advantage of exclusive discounts on fly fishing gear and the chance to wind prizes. All ages are welcome to attend the free event. 3. Get a jump on holiday shopping at the Holiday Craft Show at 10 a.m. at the Lone Tree Event Center, 33546 County Road 49, Greeley. Over 19 vendors will be onsite selling a variety of unique and handmade gifts such as wood items, custom tumblers, wreaths, earrings and more. The free event is open to all ages. 4. Five-time Grammy nominated comedian, Jim Gaffigan, is scheduled to perform at 7 p.m. at the Bellco Theatre, 700 14th St., Denver. Gaffigan is known for his funny and unusual observations on life. 5. Come celebrate 80s and 90s rock music at Tribute Night the Moxi Theater from 9-11 p.m. at 802 9th St. American Idiot, a tribute to Green Day, Blink 303, a tribute to Blink 182, and Chili Powder, a tribute to The Red Hot Chili Peppers take the stage to perform fan favorites for an entertaining evening. 7. As the holidays approach, some people may find it difficult to deal with the cheer and festivities. Handling the Holidays from 2-4 p.m. at Journey Christian Church, 4754 W. 31st St. in Greeley will be discussing ways to navigate through the holiday season no matter what you are facing. 8. The Mind Body Spirit Expo returns to northern Colorado at 9 a.m. at The Ranch Events Complex, 5280 Arena Circle, Loveland.
