In this week’s great fly-tying how-to video, Tim Flagler of Tightline Productions teaches you how to tie a slender, buggy nymph with a segmented body made of Stretch Round Rib. This brown version makes for an excellent stonefly nymph, but Tim notes that you can tie this pattern in a variety of colors to match a range of natural larvae. Best of all, it’s pretty darn easy to tie.

          Tails: Chocolate-brown pheasant tail fibers.
