It’s an ingenious method that’s also super easy. Then, all you have to do is tie on the pine squirrel strip, and you’re good to go. Of course, Tim has tips for making that easier, as well.
Balanced Pine Squirrel Streamer
Hook: 2X-strong 90-degree jig hook (here a Mustad 32833NP-BN), size 4.
Thread: Black, 6/0 or 140-denier.
Eye-holder: Small zip tie.
Adhesive #1: Superglue.
Tail and body: Brown Zonked Pine Squirrel.
Adhesive #2: Head cement or UV-cure resin.
Tools: Wire cutters, lighter, whip-finisher.
