This week, Tim demonstrates a simple method for creating a parachute post out of polypropylene yard. You want your post to stand straight upward and not move on the hook shank, so Tim uses an ingenious technique that involves twisting the yarn into a rope before tying it in. The results are elegant and clean, and the fly will float well and be visible on the water.
