Free Christmas dinner planned Saturday
Harvest Church in Natrona Heights, Harrison, will serve a free Christmas dinner from noon to 4 p.m. or until the food runs out Saturday at the church, 1333 Freeport Road.
The menu will include ham, mashed potatoes, corn and a dinner roll. No reservations are required.
Drive-through food distribution set for Tuesday at Pittsburgh Mills
Allegheny Valley Association of Churches and the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank will host a drive-thru food distribution for anyone in need from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Tuesday in parking lot of the former JC Penney store at the Galleria at Pittsburgh Mills, Frazer.
Reservations are required by 5 p.m. Monday to ensure enough food is available. A limited number of home deliveries are also available to residents of the 15076, 15084, 15065 and 15024 zip codes. You will need your name, email, zip code, email address, current weekly income and license plate number for the car that will pick up the food.
