NARROWSBURG – The Ten Mile River Scout Museum, on the grounds of Ten Mile River Scout Camps’ headquarters, 1481 County Road 26 in Narrowsburg, will open for the summer season soon after Sullivan County enters Phase IV; on or about July 16. The hours are Thurs. – Sat., 9 a.m.- noon EDT and 1:30.-5 p.m. EDT. The museum will close for the summer six weeks after the opening date.
Museum personnel will be there to answer questions from visitors. The museum will follow all protocols to keep its visitors and staff safe. Masks must be worn at all times. No more than four visitors will be allowed in at a time. Social distancing must be maintained.
If people wish to visit outside the set hours, dialing, 252-2063 will allow them to make appointments. Information about schedule changes will be posted on the museum’s website, Facebook and Twitter feeds.
Additional summer programming from the museum includes webinars conducted with the National Parks Service, theater personalities, human resource professionals and others.
