The young ladies of the Sheridan WYO Rodeo Royalty will be holding a fundraiser that will feature music and both silent and live auctions.
According to Sheridan WYO Rodeo 2022 Queen Reata Cook, the funds help the WYO Rodeo Royalty to purchase horse tack, rodeo royalty clothing and fund their efforts to promote Sheridan and the WYO Rodeo around the Cowboy State.
As the Sheridan WYO Rodeo Queen, Cook aspires to be the kind of mentor to the younger generation that she looked up to as a young Sheridan WYO Rodeo Jr. Princess in 2012, during her early years. Now a college student studying Elementary Education, she told listeners of Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse that she looks to help, inspire and mentor youth with Joey’s Fly Fishing Foundation with help from the Wyoming Women’s Foundation.
The 2022 Sheridan WYO Rodeo Royalty Fundraiser will begin with cocktails by the Ledoux Saloon at 5:30 p.m., Nov. 6, at Dr. Batty’s Red Barn on Decker Road. Dinner will begin at 6:30 p.m.
The fundraiser will feature music by The Craft Brothers. Tickets are $30 or purchase a table for 8 guests for $300, which also features two bottles of wine.
To purchase tickets, message them on the Sheridan WYO Rodeo Royalty’s Facebook page, here, or stop by the Office of Dave Craft, located at 1107 N. Main St. in Sheridan.
