Russom, Richard Joseph PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. Richard “Chawho” Joseph Russom, 74 of Panama City Beach, Fla., passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, in his home. He was born on February 20, 1948, in Mechanicville, N.Y. Rich was an entrepreneur, craftsman, sailor, and fisherman with a passion for fly fishing; and a very loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Rich served two tours of duty in Vietnam with the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick and Josephine Russom. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Cindy Russom; four children, Richard Russom Jr. (Laura), Nicole Brewer (Brian), Brooke Leigh (Greg), and Taylor; ten grandchildren, Saori Russom, Josephina Russom, Leah Brewer, Avery Brewer, Mason Brewer, Sophia Leigh, Scarlett Leigh, Silas Leigh, Finnley, and Weston; brother, Frederick Russom (Anne) and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members. In honoring Richard’s request, there will be no services held. Those desiring may make memorial donations to The Bay County Sheriff’s Department, 3421 N.
