RareWaters Expands Team, Hires New CEO

RareWaters is expanding its leadership team, bringing on a new chief executive officer and additional sales and marketing team members, as it expands fly fishing property access across the Rocky Mountain region.

As part of this change, Brenden Stucky, founder of RareWaters, assumes the role of chief financial officer and oversees all strategic, financial, and operational aspects of the company.

Stucky said, “We are extremely excited about what the future holds with this new team. This group brings decades of fly fish industry knowledge, contacts, and the ability to execute our vision to catapult RareWaters, our partners, and our customers to the next level. RJ Hosking assumes the role of Chief Executive Officer to lead the company’s strategy and execution for the next stage of impact and growth. Hosking formerly held various roles within the outdoor and experiential industries at organizations like Patagonia, Zamp Solar, Dometic Outdoor, and Airbnb. During his more than 15 years at Patagonia, Hosking’s experience included overseeing the fly fish product line. Hosking currently oversees sales and marketing efforts as well as leads business development in partnership with Stucky.

Chet Hervey has also joined to RareWaters, overseeing marketing, content, and media efforts. Hervey brings more than 18 years of overarching marketing experience to RareWaters’ organizational capabilities. His background includes working in the content space with brands like Garmin, Beretta, and onX Maps.

Adrienne Fay continues overseeing customer success with over more than 15 years of hosting, hospitality, and customer service experience. She remains RareWaters’ key contact for linking anglers and landowners.

Based in Denver, RareWaters offers affordable fly-fishing on private lands throughout Colorado and Wyoming.
