Paul A. Crowl, 92, of Edinboro, died Friday, October 1, 2021 at Wesbury in Meadville. He was born in Wyalsuing, PA on May 7, 1929, the son of the late Albert and Blanche Crowl.
Paul enjoyed Fly fishing, hunting and most of all trapping. As a Member of the Lake Edinboro Sportsmans Club, he was a Hunter-Trapper Education Safety Instructor for those learning how to trap. He was a member of both The National Trappers Association and The Pennsylvania Trappers Association. He also enjoyed studying different types of birds as well.
He served in the United States Army during the Korean War.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Maxine in 2016; a daughter-in-law, Shirley Crowl; a brother, Gerald Crowl; and two sisters, Hazel Brown and Evelyn Crowl.
Survivors include three sons, Gerald Crowl, of Cambridge Springs, James (Kimberly) Crowl, of Saegertown and Brian (Stephanie) Crowl, of Cambridge Springs; a daughter, Ann (Brian) Whitney, of Wichita KS; also 12 grandchildren, George, Ted, Jane, Pearl, Ben, Amanda, Alex, Megan, Chris, Marcia, Jenn, and Liz.
No public service will be held. The Glunt Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Edinboro, is in charge of funeral arrangements.
Burial will be at Union Cemetery in Guys Mills, Pa.
