Matthew McConaughey launched an off-grid cabin he co-designed with Wild Turkey’s charity initiative.

McConaughey has partnered with Waldren Retreats, a luxury 96-acre private property along the Pedernales River cliffs in the Texas Hill Country with his Wild Turkey Longbranch Bourbon brand. That’s right; a ranch suite has entirely been created and inspired by McConaughey’s love of Texas with a glass of bourbon in hand, and it’s for a good cause.

grahamheywood/Getty Images/iStockphotoThe Wild Turkey Longbranch bourbon brand will match the price of each Longbranch Ranch package booked with a donation to The Trail Conservancy, an Austin-based non-profit that preserves the Ann and Roy Butler Hike-and-Bike Trail, according to a recent report from Travel + Leisure. Guests of the suite will receive a bottle of Longbranch, a signed copy of McConaughey’s book “Greenlights,” along with the natural amenities of hiking, and fly fishing while kicking back along the river and Texas landscape.
“Take in the rolling hills along the Pedernales River from a private balcony and fire pit while sipping on a glass of Longbranch Bourbon,” said a portion of the booking website for the Longbranch Ranch suite.
The website describes the experience as “the creative process that led to the award-winning Longbranch Bourbon a willingness to wonder “what if” and embrace the curious collision of Master Distiller Eddie Russell’s careful craftsmanship with Matthew McConaughey’s Texas roots and personal brand of creativity.”
The standard rate is $445.00 a night, with booking availability open for 2023.
