Everyone knows how to make a back cast, but few people are capable of turning a back cast into a fishing cast with a proper delivery. Pete Kutzer shows his tricks for making the back cast turn over perfectly…well we may not be able to do it as well as Pete, but his tips will help us mortals.
This is a huge advantage when in a boat, allowing you to cover both sides, or in windy conditions when you don’t want the fly whistling over your head. And in smaller waters, it’s a terrific help in tight, brushy streams or lake shoresre is a hatch going on and when trout are lying deep with no visible bug activity.
