Jon Travis Beasley
Jon Travis Beasley, age 38, of Abingdon, Maryland, passed away on December 7, 2021 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, Maryland. J.T. was born on December 15, 1982 in Jacksonville, Texas and graduated from Jacksonville High in 2001. J.T. was the son of James G. Beasley, Jr.
J.T., “born and raised in East Texas”, joined the U.S. Navy in 2001 where he proudly served until 2010 as an IT2. Following the Navy, he worked for the Department of Defense as a digital forensic examiner. J.T. loved his home state of Texas, fly fishing with his dad, grilling and smoking any kind of meat, learning about new technology, building computers, and online gaming. Above all, J.T. loved spending time with his beloved wife of five years, Shannon Harris Beasley, and their adored rescue dog, Hazel.
In addition to his loving wife, J.T. is survived by his brother and sister-in-law Jason and Meghan Beasley of Whitehouse, TX; niece, Rylan Clakley; grandparents, Travis and Allene Meador; aunt, Kim McDuff; cousins, Brandi DeMarco, Trent Oneil, and Dylan Ferrell; and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Mary Bisset-Harris and Alan Harris.
J.T. was preceded in death by his father, James Gordan Beasley, Jr.
