Jim met the love of his life, Maria Holden, while living in Florida, and they married on Oct. 5, 1996, at Glenlord Beach in Stevensville. Jim and Maria raised their family in the area, where he worked at Wolverine Metal Stamping for more than 20 years.
Jim had many passions; he loved fly fishing and collecting antique lures, he was an accomplished free-flight airplane builder and competitor, and he was a professed foodie (and loved cooking). Jim was cherished by many, and will be remembered for his kind heart, integrity and infectious sense of humor.
Jim is survived by his wife of 25 years, Maria L. Hack; daughter, Samantha (Luke) Hack-Rose; son, William Hack; and parents: James Sr., and Jeanne (Bellairs) Hack.
