Welcome to the another edition of the Orvis News Friday Fly-Fishing Film Festival! Each week, we scour the Web for the best fly-fishing videos available and then serve them up for you to enjoy. This week, we’re trying something new: To celebrate the end of 2023, we are serving up the number one video from every F5 throughout the year. We usually reserve that top spot each week for the film that we feel is the most compelling, most beautiful, or most meaningful. So here are all forty-four lead-off hitters from the past year, in order. (We do miss a couple weeks, and there are a couple “classic” collections, as well, which is why there aren’t 52 here.) Here’s to more incredible films in 2024!
For best results, watch all videos at full-screen and in high definition . Remember, we surf so you don’t have to. But if you do stumble upon something great that you think is worthy of inclusion in a future F5, please post it in the comments below, and we’ll take a look.
