Welcome to an all-new edition of the Orvis News Friday Fly-Fishing Film Festival, in which we scour the Web for the best fly-fishing videos available. This week, we present an even dozen videos that are mostly focused on trout, in destinations as far-flung as Argentina, British Columbia, and Switzerland. But there’s plenty of home-grown action thrown in, as well. Plus, one of the clearest carp eats you ever did see.

For best results, watch all videos at full-screen and in high definition. Remember, we surf so you don’t have to. But if you do stumble upon something great that you think is worthy of inclusion in a future F5, please post it in the comments below, and we’ll take a look.

We kick things off with the trailer for this year’s F3T, which will be a virtual event. For more info, click here.

Here’s a super-cool view of a carp eat in very shallow water.

A summer day on Colorado’s Eagle River, including an unintentional dip.

Don’t know where, who, or what, but there’s plenty of eye candy and a little Alan Watts intro.

Fernie looks fun, doesn’t it?

Here’s a palce we don’t see too often on the F5: western South Africa.

Good times in the Montana backcountry.

Matthew Spurlin makes a solo mission into the Medicine Bow Wilderness of southeastern Wyoming.
