Fjallraven Samlaren Collection
Fjallraven’s limited-edition collection is made from the brand’s leftover fabrics. Fjallraven combined these scraps with new color combos for one-of-a-kind Samlaren Jackets ($255). The Samlaren Jacket has Fjallraven’s durable G-1000 fabric, two drop-in chest pockets with buttons (pockets on torso of women’s version), color-blocking, and a hood. It’s available in men’s and women’s. The full collection includes jackets, caps, and bags.
Chrome Industries Cobra 3.0 Hoodie
Chrome Industries’ new Cobra 3.0 Hoodie ($180) is designed to be the best performance merino layer possible. The hoodie is quick-drying, has a two-way zipper, three-panel hood, thumbholes, a drop tail, and low-profile zippered hand pockets. But the star of the show is its rear pass-through pocket. Chrome also updated the materials and fit of this hoodie, available in men’s and women’s sizing.
Wahoo Speedplay Pedals
Wahoo updated the four pedals in its Speedplay line. The new Comp, Zero, Aero, and Nano Speedplay Pedals (from $150) have a unique locking mechanism with dual-sided entry, a slim profile, sealed bearings, and more to enhance a rider’s freedom of movement when clipped in. The different models offer either standard or easy tension and vary in material, with the lightest being titanium and carbon, weighing just 168 g.
Cannondale Adventure Neo E-Bike
Cannondale has launched its Adventure Neo (from $2,700), a new urban-style e-bike. The bike comes in four models (the Neo 3 EQ and 4 are shown on the left), with a step-through design and a mid-drive reliable Bosch system. All four models have alloy frames with integrated batteries. The 1 EQ, 2 EQ, and 3 EQ models each have a cargo rack and fenders. With an accessible price point starting at $2,700, Cannondale hopes to welcome more people into e-biking.
SOG x PopSockets PopGrip Multitool
I’ve never attached a pop-out grip to my phone, but with this one I just might. PopSocket partnered with SOG knives to bring EDC gearheads the PopGrip multitool ($25). The multitool — equipped with quarter-inch and 4mm hex-bit drivers, a bottle opener, and a pry tool — stashes inside the one-inch-wide grip. PopSocket even built in a magnetic twist system to ensure the mini tool stays safely in place.
CamelBak Tritan Renew Bottle
CamelBak upped its game with recycled plastic in its bottles. Its Tritan Renew plastic has 50% recycled content made with Polyester renewal technology (PRT). PRT is more effective than mechanical recycling, CamelBak claims, meaning less virgin plastic is needed later on. Seven different bottle sizes (from $14) with three cap styles are available. The Tritan Renew plastic is BPA-free and dishwasher-safe.
Orvis Pro Sun Hoodie
Orvis is here with a new layer just in time for spring and summer. The Pro Sun Hoodie ($98) is built to fight back against sun, heat, and UV rays with its 50 UPF rating and soft, wicking Polartec grid fabric. This is Orvis’ highest UPF-rated layer. It features underarm gussets, thumbholes, a hidden pocket, and a hood. It’s available in men’s and women’s sizing (S-2XL).
Scrubba Wash Bag
New to market is Melbourne, Australia’s Scrubba Portable Wash Bag ($55), now made in an “untouched” version. The eco-friendly wash bag — a washing machine in your pocket — is unbleached and undyed to reduce impact on the environment. The secret is the flexible washboard-style grooves inside the bag for easy washing and scrubbing. It launched on Kickstarter earlier this month and is still available for pre-order.
Fat Tire x Topo Designs Collection
Beer bag? We mean that literally. Topo Designs partnered with its Fort Collins neighbor New Belgium Brewing Company to make a collection of Fat Tire beer-inspired bags (whether you choose to haul beers or gear). The collection includes Topo classics like the Rover Pack ($99) and Bike Bag ($49). The whole collection has the hallmark navy and fire engine-red two-tone colors, just like on New Belgium’s iconic Fat Tire amber ale can.
Fly Fishing Strike Indicator Tool
Strike Indicator’s latest innovation is the New Zealand Strike Indicator Tool Kit ($18). It’s been tested and used by fly fishing guides across New Zealand (and the world). Strike founder and veteran fisherman Barry Dombro designed the tool for anglers who target trout with nymph. It’s simple to use, 100% knotless, and allows for easy adjustability. The kit consists of a needle with a hook, tubing sleeves, and multicolored, lightweight wool.
Front Runner Load Bed Rack Side Mount
Secure your bicycle to the side of your Front Runner Load Bed Rack Kit with this adjustable side mount. Front Runner Outfitters’ Load Bed Rack Side Mount ($98) uses a pair of brackets that allows you to attach your bike (of any size!) to either the left or right side for easier access. This cleverly frees up more rack space for other gear.
Moosejaw x prAna Journeyman Tee
Moosejaw and prAna have partnered to print a fun new T-shirt. The Moosejaw and prAna Tee ($30) follows prAna’s Journeyman collection design and is made with recycled polyester and organic cotton-blend fabric. And the tee graphic is made with water-based printing.
Keytool EDC Tool
There are plenty of mini EDC tools that can attach to your keychain. But what about one that actually holds your keys and has more than eight other functions and features? The Keytool ($18) is just that. This multitool is a key organizer (holding up to five keys) and an EDC tool, with a bottle opener, a 2-inch stainless steel blade, hex and screwdriver bits, a built-in tripod, and more.
VOORMI Wooly Bugger Overhat
VOORMI’s Woolly Bugger Overhat ($89) screams warmth for cold adventures (think ice fishing, winter camping, and more). The Woolly Bugger Overhat is made with VOORMI’s two-layer weatherproof membrane: 21.5-micron surface-hardened merino wool fabric and a fleece nylon liner with a durable water-repellent finish. In terms of style, it’s got flip-down, windproof ear flaps to shelter you from any wind or cold.
