Eloy Lujan 97, a resident of Española, New Mexico passed away on December 14, 2021. He was preceded in death by his Wife, Rose Lujan; Daughters, Barbara Lujan and Lucille Rodriguez; Parents, Jose Alfredo and Amada Lujan; Sisters, Sarah, Endalesia, and Isabel; Brothers, Louis, Leopoldo, Ruben, Alfredo, and Augustine.

Eloy was employed as a salesman for Hunter Motors, Art Houle’s Chevrolet and Cimino’s Pontiac for over thirty years and was the owner of Pajarito Mobile Homes until his retirement. He was a member of Sacred Heart Parish.  

Eloy was raised in a family of ranchers and farmers and was the youngest of eleven children.  He enjoyed fly-fishing and hunting and would help his brothers brand cattle for many years. 

He will be missed by all his family and friends.

Eloy is survived by his Daughters Mary Agnes Lujan of Espanola, and Anita Cottle and husband Bob of Simi Valley, CA; Son Roland Lujan and wife Judy of Santa Fe, NM; Grandchildren, Jeffery Chavez (Katherine) of Santa Fe, NM, Julie Chavez-Hare (Steve) of Rio Rancho, NM, Monica Baca (Terry) of Normal, Illinois, Stephanie Lujan of Longmont, Colorado, Michael Mess (Keegan) of Costa Mesa, CA, Ashley Lujan of Aspen, Colorado, Devyn Dodgson (Aaron) of San Francisco, CA, and many great-grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday December 23, 2021at 12:00 p.m at Sacred Heart Church in Espanola, with a burial to follow at the Sacred Heart Cemetery
