Seabury, Edgar “Ed” Alfred PRESCOTT, Ariz. Edgar “Ed” Alfred Seabury passed away peacefully with his loving family at his side on September 24, 2021. He was 78. Ed was born on October 26, 1942, to Ruby Boutwell in Troy. He attended Ballston Spa High School in Ballston Spa. Ed was a proud U.S. Air Force veteran, serving from 1963-67. For over 33 years, Ed was dedicated to his career as a serviceman for Niagara Mohawk Power Company, where he absolutely loved helping his customers. Even though he adored living in the Adirondacks, his love of family was stronger, so he came to Arizona to be closer to his children and grandchildren. Being a devout Catholic, Ed did everything he could to love and support his family. He attended Mass regularly, with his beloved wife, Kay. In his spare time, Ed loved fly fishing, hunting, camping, and gardening, but most importantly, Ed loved spending time with his family. Ed was married to the love of his life, Kay Seabury, for 51 years before she went to be with the Lord. In addition to Kay, Ed was predeceased by his sisters, Donna Mays and Sandy Lasinski; and his brother, Paul Boutwell. He is survived by his three children, Scott (Christine) Seabury, Kathleen (Rob) Owen-Jones, and Amy Wink; his grandchildren, Shaun, Keelyn, Maura, Brenna, Kaylyn, Tara, and Jonah; and his siblings, Gail Meager, Barbara Ellis, Jon Boutwell, and Margaret Law. Ed will be laid to rest with full military honors next to his wife in the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery on Monday, October 4, at 9:30 a.m. Online condolences may be made at tunisonfuneralhome.com
