BIG RAPIDS/CANADIAN LAKES – Three new doctors have joined the medical team at Spectrum Health – two in Big Rapids and one in Canadian Lakes.
Charles Madden, MD, and Harrison Vogel, DO, will work in Big Rapids and Audrey Shaw, PA-C, will work at the Canadian Lakes office.
Dr. Madden earned his medical degree from LSU Health Center in Shreveport, Louisiana. He completed his family and community medicine residency at Penn State University in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Madden enjoys running, hiking, cooking and drawing. His wife is finishing her education to become a physician assistant.
Dr. Vogel completed his family medicine residency at Troy Beaumont Hospital. He earned his medical degree from Michigan State University – College of Osteopathic Medicine.
He enjoys fly fishing, cooking, bicycling and gardening. He’s married to Cassandra Vogel, MD, who also joined Spectrum Health in the Big Rapids OBGYN office.
Shaw, PA-C, earned her master of science in physician assistant studies degree from Central Michigan University. She worked most recently as a physician assistant at Family Health Psychiatric and Counseling Center.
A native of nearby Barryton, Shaw enjoys being outdoors: running, hunting, fishing and relaxing with friends. A huge Detroit Lions fan, she’s also an avid reader and a beginner golfer.
