Dana M. Clark, 66, of Allegheny Township, went home to be with the Lord Friday, Aug. 19, 2022, surrounded by the comfort of his devoted family. He was born Oct. 4, 1955, in New Kensington, to the late James L. and Jean (Fulton) Clark. Dana was a man with a sharp technical mind and believed in hard work and good character. A graduate of Burrell High School, Class of 1973, and Gateway Technical Institute, Class of 1975, where he received his degree in Drafting and Design, he worked at Hyde Park Foundry for many years before finishing his career as a technologist at ALCOA/Arconic in Upper Burrell. Dana loved fly fishing and hunting, and his passion for fly fishing led him to own two fly fishing shops. He cherished every moment spent with his beloved grandchildren, whom he was always devoted to teaching new things and ways of thinking. Dana was very social and an active and vital member and Past Master of Tyrian Lodge No. 644, Free and Accepted Masons of New Kensington, served as an Elder and member of Pine Run Presbyterian Church of Markle, and was a member of the North-South Skirmish Association, Local District 12th PA. His vibrant personality, dedication to his community and family, and deep love he gave will be missed daily by his beloved wife of 45 years, Annette L. (Mike) Clark; two loving sons, Christopher D. (Rachel) Clark and Jason P. (Carman) Clark; and grandchildren, Reece, Shane, Julianna, Evan and Laurel Clark. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his older brother in infancy, Gregory Scott Clark. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Dana’s honor to the Memorial Fund at Pine Run Presbyterian Church, 1117 White Cloud Road, Leechburg, PA 15613. Viewing will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2022, with Masonic Services at 7 p.m. at ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME LTD., 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington, PA 15068. A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 24, at Pine Run Presbyterian Church, 1117 White Cloud Road, Leechburg, PA 15613. The Rev. Lanny Mellinger will officiate.
