It’s time to announce the top-voted dogs from our most recent Cover Dog Photo Contest!
It’s hard to believe we’ve been working with Morris Animal Foundation and our customers since 2009 to help to end canine cancer. We are humbled to think that with your help, we’ve raised well over $1 million, all of which goes to canine-cancer research at top institutions throughout the US.
Everyone who has participated in our Cover Dog contests deserves a big round of applause, including these three folks and their entries. Though not on the cover of a catalog, together they raised over $3,400 in the fight against canine cancer–and that’s what it’s all about.
We are very proud to present our top vote-getters:
1st place: Sir Winston
Donation total: $1,565
This entry comes from Deb and Mark Helton of Littleton, Colorado. Mark is a long time Orvis customer, and Sir Winston always bring smiles to everyone at the Park Meadows Orvis retail store.
2nd Place: Onyx and Buster
Donation total: $1,010
This entry comes from Stephanie Wakeford of Raleigh, North Carolina. This pair loves their Grandpa and their Orvis collars!
3rd Place: Sofie
Donation total: $835
This entry comes from Janet Falls of Winston Salem, North Carolina. Sofie loves exploring the outdoors and is a cancer survivor due to medical advancements attributed to cancer research.

Don’t forget, our current Cover Dog Contest is running. Be sure to enter for a chance for your dog to appear on the Orvis Dog Book and to contribute to this noble cause.
Special note: the contest that ended on October 31st has now moved to the judging stage, when an Orvis elected panel of judges will select the winning entries which will appear on Orvis catalogs in the Spring of 2022.
