Adorable couple Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher have been quarantining in their home in Nashville and took time away from their two sons to spend some quality time fishing.
Mike Fisher, the husband of country singer Carrie Underwood, shared a cute picture on his Instagram page showing his and his wife’s catch after a day of fishing.
The couple took time away from their sons, Isaiah and Jacob, to spend some time together and engaged in fly fishing, which is something the family loves to do.
In the picture shared by Fisher, he and Underwood held out the fishes they caught, and it was clearly evident that the country singer’s catch was bigger than that of her husband.
In his caption to the post, Fisher lamented that his wife caught the bigger fish, which seemed always to be the case. He wrote:
“This past weekend we were able to get away for some good quality time! One thing we love to do together is fly fish but the thing I don’t like about it is she catches bigger fish.”
Carrie Underwood pressed on her superiority over her husband when it came to fishing with her comment on the post, writing, “I catch more too.”
Fans of the couple also chimed in with their comments; one fan suggested that Underwood might be singing to the fishes, which explains her having more catches, while another fan said that the singer’s fish was gorgeous.
Carrie Underwood married Mike Fisher, a former National Hockey League player, in 2010, in a costly wedding ceremony.
The couple, who has been sharing their quarantine moments with fans, has also passed their love for fishing to their sons. In one of his posts, Fisher shared a picture of Isaiah and Jacob fishing.
In the picture, Isaiah held a fishing line that he cast into the water, while his little brother watched on as he reeled in a fish. In the caption to that post, Fisher wrote:
“Isaiah showing Jacob the ropes. He’s a great big brother with a huge heart!! Love watching these 2 grow up but sometimes you just want to press the pause button!”
Aside from fishing, Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher also have a brand new hobby they are leaning into, beekeeping. Underwood showed this in a “Tik Tok” video she shared with fans last month.
The video showed her and Fisher in matching beekeeping outfits as they inspected their hives, along with a man named Joel, who seemed to be a professional beekeeper.
Carrie Underwood married Mike Fisher, a former National Hockey League player, in 2010, in a costly wedding ceremony that was estimated at $500,000.
