Hamilton Soroptimist has over $40,000 for scholarships for women in trade, technical, certification, undergraduate and advanced or graduate programs. Awards prioritize Ravalli County women with financial need, who are returning to school or training, or who are older women. Training or educational programs do not need to be within Ravalli County. See sihamilton.org/scholarships for scholarship options and criteria. Application deadline is Jan. 31, 2023.

Fly Fishers of the Bitterroot

Tony is a well seasoned guide on the waters of western Montana & owner of Montana Trout Outfitters in Missoula. Tony also serves as a Travel Advisor for Wild on the Fly Fishing Adventure Travel and has hosted fly fishing trips across the globe. Tony’s presentation is: Advanced Float Fishing Strategies. The program is designed to offer insights into float fishing that will help anglers produce better results from a drift boat or raft. The differences between float fishing & wade fishing will be highlighted, along with key aspects of casting angles, line management, hooking fish,and teamwork. Learn the tips and tactics that will lead to more trout in the net, and less frustration! Tony is very popular in Western Montana and there is sure to be a crowd, so get there early and grab your seat!
