Streetwear is still riding strong. Of all the categories in the fashion industry, it is the one that’s most coveted nowadays, selling out in mere days, if not hours. From luxury brands to burgeoning labels with an impressive amount of clout, seemingly everyone has jumped on the bandwagon, offering pieces to woo the very discerning, very selective fan base. Because while everyone can call a collection streetwear, not all are legit.

Want to know the real deal from the duds? This week’s menswear releases are chock full of ’em, a virtual pantheon of streetwear gods. There’s Aimé Leon Dore, which partnered with Woolrich on a collection that’s an homage to fly fishing. Speaking of the pastime, the cool sneakers that Matthew Williamson debuted on Givenchy’s spring 2022 runway are now available for purchase. Chris Bevans has also ventured into the great outdoors, partnering with Eddie Bauer on a capsule that’ll look just as good in Brooklyn as in Boulder. Balenciaga, the streetwear king of Paris Fashion Week, also has a new drop that’s all the rave. Bape and Heron Preston partnered on a collection that just can’t be missed. And Rhude took The Webster for a spin.

Characteristic of streetwear, these items are selling out fast, so jump on them now, because, rest assured, they’ll be gone sooner than you think.

On Givenchy’s spring 2022 runway, creative director Matthew Williams presented a collection of sharply fitted suits and overcoats done up with a panoply of pockets (think fly fishing) and sleek silver hardware. The whole vibe was a cross between techwear, athleisure, gorpcore, and Mod styles. And the shoe presented was the TK-360, a just-released custom-molded knit sneaker with a striking arch and a futuristic vibe.

Two of the coolest names in streetwear have finally joined forces. Bape, the Japanese cult label founded by man-of-the-moment Nigo, and Heron Preston, a designer who’s celebrated for his use of construction gear-adjacent hardware and utility fabrics, have teamed on a collection that blends both their distinct aesthetics in a solid package that’ll sure to become a collector’s item.

Music Acid Arab Merch Zip-up Hoodie

Acid Arab’s music is all the rave in Europe. So much so that the Paris-based duo, known for mixing Middle Eastern tunes with electric sounds, has caught the attention of Balenciaga; the French label enlisted the group to create a playlist that’s available for download on Apple Music. Balenciaga has also released a capsule line, one that accurately reflects Acid Arab’s vibe, to commemorate the partnership.

Formula 1 fans to the front of the line. To celebrate this year’s Miami Grand Prix, Rhude, the Los Angeles cult brand, and The Webster, the Miami-based boutique, have released a collection of bombers, hoodies, tees, and bucket hats with vintage-inspired prints.

Puma and Ami: a real love affair, one that’s flying off the shelves.

Eddie Bauer x Christopher Bevans

Portland-based designer Christopher Bevans definitely knows a thing or too about stuff for the great outdoors. He’s also originally from Brooklyn, which means the man knows how to create pieces with a streetwise edge. And capturing this essence is his collab with Eddie Bauer.

Vault by Vans x Julian Klincewicz

Julian Klincewicz is a filmmaker who’s captivated the likes of Calvin Klein and Gosha Rubchinksiy. Vans, too, can’t seem to get enough of him, tapping Klincewicz for a second time, the latest being a collection of sneakers and apparel that’s inspired by youthful imagination and teenage angst.

Sunspel and Rosie McGuinness

Sunspel, maker of the some of the tees around, has enlisted Rosie McGuinness, a London-based illustrator, on a cool collection of camp collar shirts, upcycled marine plastic swim shorts, and boxer shorts.
