Arthur A. Estus, 76, of Falconer, passed away Sun-day (July 25, 2021) in UPMC Chautauqua.
A lifelong area resident he was born Jan. 17, 1945, in Jamestown, the son of the late Robert and Isabell Shenefiel Estus.
Art attended South western High School and in earlier years was employed by Crescent Tool and S.M. Flickingers. Prior to retirement he was employed by Sysco Foods.
He enjoyed fly fishing, fly tying and collecting antique tools. Art also en-joyed volunteering with Kids on the Fly.
Surviving are six children: Alan A. Estus and Jay R. Estus, both of Jacksonville, N.C., Timothy S. Estus of Keizor, Ore., Arthur A. Estus II of Jamestown, Teresa S. Anderson of Peachtree Corners, Ga.; and Renee Bird of Falconer; 15 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and a brother, William P. Estus of Reu, Pa.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers: Carl R. Estus and Oscar J. Estus.
The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in the Falconer Funeral Home. Pastor Jennifer Delahoy will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery.
Friends will be received by the family from 6- 8 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
Memorials may be donated to the Falconer Fire Department.
