Today’s Wall Street Journal features a full-page advertisement asking the President to deny a permit for Pebble Mine. (See the ad below.) Orvis proudly signed-on, along with a number of other outdoor companies and conservation organizations, in partnership with Trout Unlimited.

For more than a decade, Orvis has been part of the fight to stop the Pebble Mine from endangering Bristol Bay, Alaska. The clock is running out on our chance to save this priceless, pristine wilderness.

Hunters and anglers around the country, the commercial fishing industry, and Alaskans all agree: The Pebble Mine is bad for American business and the opportunity to fish and hunt in one of the wildest places in our country for generations to come. Make your voice heard and tell the President to deny the Pebble Mine.
