CAMDEN — HENRY LUTHER GREENE, III

Graveside Services for Mr. Henry Luther (H.L.) Greene, III, 78, of Cherryville, North Carolina, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, February 6, 2021, at Memorial Park Cemetery in Camden, Arkansas. Rev. Wade Toddy will officiate the service under the direction of Proctor Funeral Home

Mr. Greene was born July 11, 1942, in Little Rock, Arkansas, and passed away in Shelby, North Carolina, on February 2, 2021. He graduated from Camden High School in 1960, earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Henderson State University in 1967, and was a certified public accountant. Mr. Greene worked as a corporate controller and CFO in manufacturing and distribution industries throughout the United States, Canada, and the Ukraine. He loved the outdoors and was an avid photographer and fisherman. He particularly enjoyed fly fishing in the streams and rivers of North Carolina.

Mr. Greene was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Luther Greene, Jr. and Esther Clem Greene. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Frances Suttle Greene (Cherryville, North Carolina); his daughter, Stacy Greene Guice and husband Jon (Monroe, Louisiana); grandchildren, Alexis Guice Albin and husband Tyler (Shreveport, Louisiana), and Charlotte Guice (Monroe, Louisiana); and great-grandson, Forrest Andrew Albin. He is also survived by his sister, Betty Greene Watson (Atlanta, Texas) and numerous nieces and nephews.
