Tom Rosenbauer has been a fly-fishing icon for decades, but he’d never fished for giant brook trout before this trip to film an episode of The New Fly Fisher last year. In fact, his biggest brookie prior to this was just 15 inches–a trophy in Vermont, but nothing compared to what he’d discover in Labrador. Any fly fisher who has enjoyed a surprisingly epic day on the water will recognize the gleeful laughter that Tom lets loose each time a monster engulfs his mouse pattern. After all those years on the water, he’s like a kid again. These are the kinds of day we all fish for . . . .
