Pocket Outdoor Media Joins Time to Vote Movement

Boulder, Colorado, USA — October 23, 2020 — Pocket Outdoor Media (POM), the world’s leading creator of active lifestyle content, is the latest company to join the business-led, nonpartisan coalition, Time To Vote, which aims to increase voter participation in the U.S. elections. Voter turnout in the U.S. is one of the lowest in the developed world with only 56% of the U.S. voting-age population casting a ballot in the 2016 presidential election.

One of the most common reasons people give for not voting is that they are too busy with the demands of life and work. The coalition, which represents more than six million workers in the U.S., is addressing this challenge by giving employees the time and the tools they need to exercise their right to vote in the November general election.

POM has joined the coalition and shown its support of the movement by declaring November 3, Election Day, a company holiday so that its 220 employees have the opportunity to vote and/or support others in getting to the polls.
