In this week’s video from Tightline Productions, Tim Flagler walks you through the process of tying the Shenk’s White Minnow, created by Pennsylvania legend Ed Shenk. It’s a simple streamer pattern that imitates a variety of baitfish, such as creek chubs and minnows. As usual, Tim offers several great tying tricks, such as using baby-blanket yarn and several adhesives, to make the fly easier to tie and more durable. You can tie this pattern is many colors and configurations, adding lead eyes, a jig hook, a cone, or whatever else strikes your fancy.
