Video: 2 Fly-Casting Tips to Up Your Game

Here’s another good video in the ongoing series on fly casting from Brain Flechsig of Mad River Outfitters in Columbus, Ohio. Here, he offer two foundational tips: 1. always start and end the cast with your rod tip low; and 2. the timing of the cast is a simple 4/4 beat. But if you watch the whole video, you’ll learn a lot more than that, from how much to break your wrist to working the double haul.
